ZuperOctave is the new band of guitarist Gilad Hekselman, one of the young Israeli jazzmusicians that conquer the world from Brooklyn, New York. He has worked before with artists like Chris Potter, Mark Turner and Jeff Ballard. Gilad’s improvisations are filled with surprises and his compositions sound catchy and timeless. With ZuperOctave he goes back to characteristic, electronic instruments like Fender Rhodes, synthesizers and drumpads. Last fall he released his newest album ‘Ask for Chaos’.
